at your (our) age, these long distance relationships just don't work out. this is such a classic college story its not even funny. Even if this isnt the end, you two are moving apart. Even if it wasnt for this.... It usually starts with her getting some friends that the more you hear about them, the less you think you would like them. next thing you know she starts talking different and listening to music you hate... its just how it goes. when you spend so much time apart, you just end up growing apart. The whole going away to college thing and 'we will make it work' is just giving yourselves time to ween off of the other one. So that way when the inevitable end comes, it isnt so bad, cause by that time you are having a hard time remember what was so important anyway. sorry to be a presimist, but the people who DO make it through long distance 4 year relationships scare me even more. i would say, dump her, but not too bad. No point in making her feel like shit, cause it won't make you feel any better if you actually do care for her. If you are lucky, you will still be able to tap it down the road.
